Playwright Bio
Eleanor Burgess has a habit of poking at complicated and uncomfortable topics. Her plays have been produced or developed at the Alliance Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Centenary Stage Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, the Lark Play Development Center, the Kennedy Center/NNPN MFA Playwrights Workshop, and Ryder Farm. In addition to writing, Eleanor has worked as a history teacher, a pastry chef, and a social media manager.
