M.A.D. Marketing Fellowship

Shotgun’s M.A.D. marketing fellow will learn the process of identifying, cultivating, and retaining an annual audience of donors, subscribers, and single-ticket patrons.

This monthlong fellowship is an opportunity to develop core marketing skills—research, strategy, design, and project management. Shotgun’s marketing is fast-paced and collaborative. One day, you may design an email and social media campaign or arrange advertising trades with other local theaters. The next, you may build mobile-responsive web pages or create custom analytics reports. This opportunity is designed to offer more than a summer “updating” Facebook; you’ll develop the skills and experience for a successful start to your performing arts marketing career. The fellow will work an average of 10 hours per week, during office hours 10am-5pm, with occasional evening or weekend commitments.
