Masked Matinee - March 24

We understand that there are some theatergoers who are only comfortable gathering in large groups with masks. To make our performances accessible to as many people as possible, we offer a "Masked Matinee" performance on Sunday, March 24. Food and drink will still be available at our concessions and can be enjoyed outside, but there is no eating or drinking inside the theater during these performances as all audience members will be required to wear masks.

ASL Night

For the Deaf community, we are proud to collaborate with Velvet Hands Interpreting Services to offer American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance of this event on Thursday, April 11 at 7 PM. If you are planning to utilize interpretation at this event please inform the box office upon arrival.

Haptic Tour & Live Audio-Described Performance - April 7

We are proud to partner with Gravity Access to provide a pre-show "Haptic Tour" and live audio description for our blind and low-vision audience members on Sunday, April 7. For sighted patrons, the performance is otherwise the same as on any other evening.

What is Audio Description?

During the performance, patrons may use devices provided for free by Gravity Access to listen to a live audio description of the show. The narration guides the listener through the performance with concise, objective descriptions of new scenes, lighting, costumes, facial expressions / body language, and "sight gags," all slipped in between portions of the actors' dialogue or songs.

What is the Pre-Show Haptic Tour?

The pre-show "Haptic Tour" allows patrons to experience the space, performers, costumes, and props through touch, their own movement, hearing, and kinesthetic senses. Usually lasting 20 to 30 minutes, these tours lay a multi-sensory foundation to support the audio description. Doors for the pre-show Haptic Tour will open at 3:45 PM for check-in. We recommend arriving early as the tour will begin promptly at 4 PM. The audio-described performance will start at 5 PM.
