What do Judaism and oboe-playing have in common? Reeds! The Israelites needed a miracle to make their way across the Sea of Reeds, and it will take a miracle for Josh to make even one playable reed so he can play an important Bach piece on his oboe. The original production of Sea of Reeds, commissioned by the Shotgun Players, had Josh joined onstage by several other actor-musicians. This improvised performance is Josh's first attempt to adapt the show into a touring solo piece -- and also to try out new material. Be prepared: the sawdust will be flying!
