Tickets

Due to ongoing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are postponing further sales of these shows.

There are a lot of unknowns in the world right now. One thing we do know is that we plan to produce the remaining shows in our season. The thing we’re still working on is when they will happen.

So, we have temporarily removed sales for these performances until we’re able to confirm a new open date. If you have tickets, hold on to them! Once we have our dates set, we’ll be in touch about your options. If we need to change our plans and cancel any Champagne Staged Reading performance entirely, we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as possible.

In the meantime, see our digitally available work HERE .

We hope you’re staying safe and can’t wait to see you once we’re able to reopen our doors.

We Are Radios

By Chana Porter

Music by Ted Hearne

Includes nine original songs by 2018 Pulitzer Prize finalist Ted Hearne!

A new play with music, We are Radios explores disability, queerness, the toxicity of the nuclear family, and the possibility of forgiveness.

“Porter’s type of risky storytelling is, well… like a lion’s roar in an all too often timid jungle.”
—Houston Press

A Small Fire

By Adam Bock

Directed by Maya Herbsman

Bock’s meticulously crafted script follows Emily Bridges, a woman used to running all the things — from her construction business to her family — until she suddenly and mysteriously starts losing her physical senses. As her world changes, her relationships shift in poignant and revelatory ways.

“The play is… raucous, funny, and unexpectedly touching, as we are made intimate witnesses to a frank demonstration of how much of life, of love, and of happiness remain within reach even when so much appears to be lost.”
—The New York Times
