The Shotgun Studios

1201 University (at Curtis)

In 2015 Shotgun Players opened the Shotgun Studios—a rehearsal space for Shotgun Players, and a creative hub for other emerging performing arts groups. This mammoth effort by our community of patrons and artists is a stake in the ground to say: we aren’t going anywhere. The Bay Area is a place where artists can come to practice, train, or just have fun. 

Studio Spaces Available for Rent

STUDIO B – 28' x 34 ($30 per hour)

• Raised wooden floors, high ceilings, great natural light
• Mirrors running lengthwise 
• Heating and air conditioning
• Sound system and upright piano available

STUDIO C – 16' x 25' ($20 per hour)

• Hardwood floor, windows with natural light
• Speaker with plug
• Upright piano available

Both Studios include the following amenities:

• Kitchenette and spacious restrooms
• Easy access to parking, freeway, and public transportation
