Robert Alter has taught at the University of California at Berkeley since 1967 and is currently the director of its Center for Jewish Studies. He has written widely on the European and American novel, on modern Hebrew literature, and on literary aspects of the Bible.

Rabbi Menachem Creditor is the spiritual leader of Congregation Netivot Shalom in Berkeley, CA, editor of "Peace in Our Cities: Rabbis Against Gun Violence," and a regular contributor to the Huffington Post. A published author, activist, and musician, he serves on the national board of American Jewish World Service, the executive council of the Rabbinical Assembly, and the Chancellor's Rabbinic Cabinet at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

Patrick Dooley started Shotgun in 1992, fueled with coffee, great friends and late night shenanigans. He’s directed over 40 plays in that time and hasn’t stopped learning from every effort. Thanks to everyone who comes to Shotgun to celebrate the agony and ecstasy of life – precious life. He’d love to hear what you think of Shotgun's work: pdooley@shotgunplayers.org.
