These ticket prices and discounts apply to the plays in our 2025 SEASON: Art, Yellow Face, The Magnolia Ballet, The Motion, and Sunday in the Park with George.

SUBSCRIBER TICKET

These tickets are—simply put—the hottest tickets at Shotgun! Subscribers get a discount on regular tix, access to seats hidden from others, and free ticket exchanges with 24 hours notice. Learn more about Shotgun’s subscription packages here.

SINGLE TICKET OPTIONS

Our tickets are priced to make theater available to everyone. The full price of putting this work on stage costs roughly $80-$100 per ticket. Please look at the categories below and, based on your circumstances, select the one that allows you both to enjoy our work and to do your fair share in helping us make live theater available to everyone.

PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN TICKET
We offer pay-what-you-can tickets to all of our previews (performances before opening night) What a deal!

$10 MAD (MAKE A DIFFERENCE) TICKET
We make a lot of theatre with and for young folks, so we do everything we can to make it affordable. If you're 25 or under, you can get in for $10! When selecting your seats, click on the red discount code button and enter MADTIX to unlock the discounted tickets. Don’t forget to bring your ID! We have up to 10 MAD tickets available for each performance. Also, keep an eye out for MAD NIGHTS where we offer unlimited MADTIX and FREE pizza and drinks, including beer for those 21 and older. Spread the word!

$25 COMMUNITY TICKET
We believe great art makes a better world. Live theatre has the power to open minds, lift spirits, and fill us with wonder and joy. If our regular admission price is an obstacle, please use the $25 Community Ticket! If someday you don't need it, then please spread the word to those who do so they can also join us! (We offer 2 Community Tickets per person/order and have a limited number of tickets available for each performance.)

$40 GOOD NEIGHBOR TICKET
You make it possible for us to create dynamic, provocative work with local artists. $55 Team Player Ticket You notice how many folks we have to hire, plus all the little details that go into making the magic happen.

$80 HOMETOWN HERO TICKET
You know this is the actual cost of the art before donations. High five!

TRANS-POC ALWAYS WATCH FREE TICKET
Trans Poc Always Watch Free is an outreach program offering unfettered access to live theatre at the Ashby Stage for any transgender person of color, regardless of income. The program was inspired by the groundbreaking work of Oakland restaurateur Cellphone and their Trans POC Always Eat Free programs. We offer a free ticket to anyone who identifies as a trans person of color using discount code TPOC4FREE

THE SCHOOL GROUP DISCOUNT
Bringing a school group? You save 25% on the listed ticket price.

THE LARGE GROUP DISCOUNT
We are happy to offer a $5 discount per ticket for groups of ten or more, space permitting! Simply contact the box office.
