Women Laughing Alone with Salad

Written by Sheila Callaghan

Directed by Trish Mulholland

April 17 & 18, 2017, doors at 6pm; performance at 7pm

Inspired by the internet meme of... women laughing alone while eating salad, Sheila Callaghan explores gender stereotypes, relationships, and sexism, along with a healthy side of humor and mixed greens. Callaghan breaks all the rules of our image-obsessed culture in this raw comedy.

“More than a fierce, audacious rant; it holds out hope that awareness can change our narrative”
—Margaret Gray | March 14, 2016 | Los Angeles Times
