Benoît Monin

is thrilled to be making his Shotgun début. He is an award-nominated stage actor and improviser trained at BATS Improv, American Conservatory Theater, Shakespeare & Co., and Princeton University (PhD, Psychology). Recent collaborations include We Players, Oakland Theater Project, and RagTag Improv. Benoît is a member of La Lengua Teatro en Español and co-founder of La Compagnie Carmina. David Sinaiko, He/Him (Marc) returns to Shotgun after appearing in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf; Hamlet; The Village Bike; Antigonick; and Arcadia. Other credits: The Antipodes with ARC; The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, and Murder On The Orient Express at Houston’s Alley Theatre; many plays at Cutting Ball; SF Playhouse; Golden Thread; Crowded Fire among other great Bay Area theaters; was a founder of Chicago’s acclaimed New Crime Productions.

YASMINA REZA

Yasmina Reza (Playwright) is a French playwright and novelist, based in Paris, whose works have all been multi-award-winning, critical and popular international successes, produced worldwide and translated into 35 languages. She has written seven plays (Conversations After a Burial, The Passage of Winter, ‘Art’, The Unexpected Man, Life X 3, A Spanish Play, God of Carnage, How You Talk the Game) and 6 novels (“Hammerklavier,” “Une Desolation (Desolation),” “Adam Haberberg,” “Dans la Luge d’Arthur Schopenhauer,” “Nulle Part” and “L’Aube, le Soir ou la Nuit (Dawn Dusk or Night)”). Films include: “Le Pique-Nique de Lulu Kreutz,” directed by Didier Martiny and “Chicas,” written and directed by the author.

Emilie Whelan is a director/actor/arts organizer in the bay area. Recent bay area credits include Kushner’s Angels in America, Martyna Majok’s The Cost of Living, Taylor Mac’s Gary, Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon’s Georgianna & Kitty, Macbeth, A Streetcar Named Desire, Romeo and Juliet. She is the Director of Advancement with West Edge Opera with a focus on developing new operatic works.

Principal Sound Alchemist of Brooklyn Sound Lab, Ray meets
musical virtuosity with technical innovation. A multi-instrumentalist
who has performed internationally with Leonard Bernstein and leading
orchestras, Ray combines classical, jazz, rock, and hip-hop with decades of
studio expertise. His blend of performance and technology—including his
role building one of the largest streaming networks at CBS —is an
unparalleled creative partner delivering excellence and precision.

Latiece is an Assistant Stage Manager, Stagehand, and multimedia profes- sional from San Francisco with experience in theater, film, and live events. She has worked with organizations like A.C.T. and Crowded Fire Theater. Latiece hosts and curates a growing virtual reality BIPOC art and film com- munity in the metaverse called, The Pink Screen VR. She is also a graduate of Norfolk State University in Virginia.

Growing up in Hawaii but originally from the Bay Area, Brandon DiPaola is an actor, fight director and instructor with Dueling Arts International. Brandon started his training at the Hawaii Conservatory of Performing Arts where he found a love for theater. His passion lead him to study at the East 15 Acting School in England where he holds a Bachelor’s in Acting and Stage Combat. Alice has been a freelance Costume Designer, Assistant Costume Design- er, Costume Mentor, and Theatrical Dresser throughout the SF Bay Area for a decade.
