Rezan Asfaw is an actress born and raised in Oakland, CA. She is making her Shotgun Players debut. Her recent roles include Good People with Altarena Playhouse, Les Blancs with Oakland Theater Project, After Happy with Central Works, Mother/Tongues at the Magic Theater. Rezan completed 2 years of Meisner training and continued with African American Shakespeare Company. She is also a student of MuayThai.

ADAM MENDEZ JR
Adam Mendez is super PUMPED to be making his Shogun Players debut! Adam moved back to the Bay Area a few years ago and has worked with Berkeley Playhouse, ACT, Las Positas, Townhall Theater, Marin Shakespeare Co & Teatro Visión. When Adam isn’t onstage or working in creative spaces, he focuses on his music & massive Pokémon collection with his partner No’eau. Adam brings in the knowledge of working on films from his 9 years living in Los Angeles, and feels like he is back in the city of angels. Saludos ❤️

BENOÎT MONIN
Benoît Monin is delighted to come back to Shotgun after performing last year in ‘Art’ and A Black-Billed Cuckoo (The Champagne Staged Reading Series). Recent projects include his solo performance of The Fever at Clio’s in Oakland, and the improv duo Chatterbox. Benoît trained with BATS Improv, American Conservatory Theater, and Shakespeare & Company.

Regina Morones is a native Bay Area actor and arts educator from Oakland, CA. She was most recently seen as Lydia in All My Sons at Berkeley Rep. Notable onstage credits include: Hamlet (Oakland Theater Project), Best Available (Shotgun Players), Measure for Measure (A.C.T. Out Tour), and Yerma (Shotgun Players). MALCOLM RODGERS
Malcolm is an actor and scenic designer based in Marin County. Last seen at Shotgun Players as Mr. Pendleton in Choirboy. Other roles include Charles in Blithe Spirit, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Clarence in It’s A Wonderful Life, Clown 2 in The 39Steps and Iago in Othello. Malcolm studied performance and design at SFSU and received his acting conservatory training at PCPA. He is married to Actor/Director Mary Ann Rodgers

Matt is thrilled to return to Shotgun Players, having been previously seen in Sunday in the Park with George and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Ray Archie, He/Him (Sound Designer) Principal Sound Alchemist of Brooklyn Sound Lab, combines musical virtuosity with technical innovation. A multi-instrumentalist who has performed internationally with Leonard Bernstein and leading orchestras, Ray combines classical, jazz, rock, and hip-hop with decades of studio expertise. Willow Dorsey is a queer sound maker and creative with a passion for collaboration and experimentation. After graduating Calarts with a BFA in Experimental Pop, she moved to the Bay and continued to pursue her passion of intersecting intuitive art making with technical experimentation. Jenna Forder (she/her) is an Oakland artist, designer and maker designing sets, props and occasionally mythical creatures for theaters around the Bay Area. Jenna has been a scenic designer and technical director for the Youth Stage Conservatory at Berkeley Playhouse Theater since 2022. Sarah “Eli” Hampton is an actor and director finishing their degree at the University of San Francisco. They served as executive producer for the USF student theater troupe for two years where they directed productions of Hair, The Skin of Our Teeth, and a devised piece titled Red Line. Eli is grateful for the opportunity to develop their directorial toolbox as a MAD Fellow.
